Echo L. Hobbs, L.Ac.

is originally from Alaska, and moved to Oregon to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree at Linfield College in McMinnville.  Having fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest, she decided to pursue her Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Portland at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.  After completing the four-year program, including a 15 month intensive internship, Echo moved to Salem, Oregon to set up her practice.

After establishing herself in the Salem community, Echo joined on with Marjorie Eng of Eng Acupuncture in October of 2002 as an associate.  In August of 2004, Echo bought the Salem practice and changed the name to Jade Earth Acupuncture, LLC.

When not working, Echo keeps herself happy, healthy, and able to help others by exploring the great northwest with her Rhodesian Ridgeback, Kito.  Having grown up a child of outdoorspersons, Echo is blessed with a great sense of adventure and avid love of nature, and considers herself lucky to be able to live and play in such a beautiful place.

Echo loves Salem and values being a part of her community, and thus offers the free pain clinic twice monthly.   A sense of stewardship, compassion, responsibility, love, and a strong belief that we work together in co-creating the reality around us drive her  to volunteer in various capacities around Salem as she is called upon. She is also in the process of adopting siblings from Haiti, and hopes to bring them home within the year.

 Jenna Wall

was born in Oregon, but spent the majority of her formative years in Casper, Wyoming.  Consequently, she feels an immediate kinship with anyone who has ever lived in (or driven through) Wyoming, since only approximately 16 people have ever been there.  She feels blessed to enjoy the lush abundance that Oregon has to offer, and relishes rainy days and “jeans and sweatshirts” weather.  Her favorite place is the Oregon Coast, and she is not above swimming in sub-zero ocean water.

Jenna has a passion for animal rescue, and shares her home with many creatures great and small.  Her most notable companions are a clownish American Dingo named Linus and an inquisitive Shepherd mix called Luna.  Sadly, they do not enjoy the sub-zero temperatures of the Pacific Ocean, but prefer to run along the sand and taste-test the water from time to time.  (Verdict; it’s always salty, no matter what time of day you sample it.)

Jenna enjoys making jewelry and unique art- her current favorite medium is collage.  She is in the process of remodeling a Victorian dollhouse using found objects and mementos that she has acquired over the course of her life.  She devours books as eagerly as she devours oxygen, and hopes to someday write one of her own.  She also enjoys making music, singing, and riding her bicycle (or motor-scooter, depending on how fast she needs to get where she’s going.)  She has a quirky sense of humor, and is trying very hard to teach her cats to yodel.

Jenna feels very lucky and blessed to be working at Jade Earth, and is grateful for the opportunity to foster healing in her community.
